Forest Care & Pizza Party: Come Help Us Care for the Forest!

Hey friends!

Our Forest Care & Pizza Party is back—but this month we’re gathering on the second Saturday, August 9th, since we’ll be away the weekend before. We’d love for you to join us for a half-day of summer forest care, followed by delicious wood-fired pizza, and a dance party with music to celebrate community and the land we love.

What’s the Plan?

We’re starting early (9:00–13:00) to stay cool in the summer heat. Expect a morning of pruning, planting, or clearing—whatever the forest needs right now. After a break, we’ll come back together in the evening for music, pizza, and celebration.

Evening Flow

• 18:00 – Pizza for kids

• 19:00 onwards – Pizza for adults

• Bar open: Try a drink from our new outdoor bar

• Dance party: We’ll set up speakers and dance beneath the trees

  
  

Bring your own drinks if you prefer!

What to Bring:

• Sturdy shoes and clothes for working outdoors

• Tools if you have them (pruners, shovels, gloves, etc.)

• Something to eat for lunch (BYO picnic style)

• Water bottle, sun hat, and your dancing feet

09:00 – 13:00: Morning forest care session 13:00: Bring-your-own lunch & rest 18:00: Kids’ pizzas out of the oven 19:00 – 23:00: Adult pizza + music and dancing

Just Want Pizza?

Not up for working in the sun? No problem—join us from 18:00 onwards just for the pizza and celebration. We ask for a €7 – €10 donation per person if you're joining just the evening part (you choose what fits your wallet best).

We can’t wait to work, eat, and dance with you all. These monthly gatherings are a big part of how we care for this land and grow as a community. Hope to see you here!
