Forest Care & Pizza Party: Come Help Us Care for the Forest!

Hey friends! 😊

We’re inviting you to join us on the first Saturday of every month for a fun and hands-on day of forest care here at Vale Ondula! Together, we’ll be clearing brambles, planting trees, and doing whatever else the season calls for to give our little forest some love. And, of course, we’ll wrap it all up with a stone oven pizza party to celebrate the day’s work and hang out by the fire. 🍕🔥

What’s the Plan?

We’ll spend the day working together on the land—pruning, planting, clearing, and just generally getting our hands dirty. It's a great way to spend some time outdoors, contribute to the regeneration of the forest, and catch up with good company. Don’t worry if you’re new to this, we’ll figure it all out together!

What to bring:

• Sturdy shoes and clothes you don’t mind getting muddy

• Any tools you have handy (pruners, shovels, bush cutters, etc.)

• Something to munch on for lunch—we’ll do a casual potluck-style picnic! -- Dinner is on us!

Please RSVP, and let us know if you're coming! Just bring yourself, your tools (if you’ve got any), and your good energy. We’ve got the pizza covered. 😉

The Schedule:

Every first Saturday of the month

• 10:00 – 13:00: Morning forest care session

• 13:00 – 14:00: Potluck lunch—bring your favorite dish and we’ll share it picnic-style!

• 14:00 – 17:00: Afternoon work session

• 17:00 – 19:00: Pizza party by the fire! Let's relax, chat, and celebrate all the work we've done.

Can't come to the Forest Care?

If you can't join us for a workday in the forest feel free to join us from 17:00 onwards for the Pizza Party on a donation basis. We ask for a contribution of €6 - €10 per person (you decide what fits you wallet best). Bring your own drinks!

We’d love to see you and spend the day working together to care for our forest. It’s always such a rewarding day—plus, it’s a good excuse for us all to hang out, catch up, and enjoy some delicious wood-fired pizza! 🍕🌳
