About the event
Foraging & Herbal Preparations
You might have grown up believing that plants not intentionally cultivated by people are simply weeds. Yet, did you know that for centuries, humans have both nourished themselves and treated various ailments with these very plants, often categorized as weeds? To kick off the 2024 workshops at Vale Ondula, we've invited our friend Alice Montanha to share her expertise in herbalism. She'll lead us on a foraging walk through the forest, where we'll gather herbs that will serve as the foundation for balms and creams. Join us on this enlightening journey as we unravel the mysteries surrounding these so-called weeds and embrace a new realm of nature's bounty—where every corner reveals edible and medicinal treasures!
